Initiation Defining the project scope
During the early stages, our sales representative works with you to define the project scope and provide accurate expected costs and timeframes. These are formalised in our final proposal. Upon reaching an agreement with you we provide details of the project process and outline what’s needed from your stakeholders to make the project a success.
Requirements Understanding your site and gathering information
Details captured on our site visit will ultimately make the difference between a solution that’s acceptable… and one that’s exceptional. We take photos of all the Wayfinder sites which are later used to create a full installation brief. The brief specifies site preparation requirements which are then implemented by the infrastructure team (whether Abuzz, your own team or contractors).
Taking the time to supply good information at this stage greatly improves the chance of project success. It also alleviates time pressure later in the project when you may have more pressing considerations at hand (this is especially true if you have a specific site or stage opening date).
User interface creation Reflecting your brand and identity
As we refine the site maps and convert them to our formats we provide the opportunity for you to review them – multiple times if necessary – so that we are both confident about their accuracy.
Similarly, we provide screenshots of key interface pages so that you can get an early impression of how your solution will look. This can include media concepts submitted by you or mockups created by us.
By working this way we seek to reduce unwelcome surprises, lower the impact on your team… and ultimately produce the best solution for you.
Software build Putting all the elements together
Now we can put it together.
As early as possible we’ll send you a link to check it out. This gives you an opportunity to confirm everything makes sense, and gives us time to adjust anything that doesn’t.
Testing Assuring the quality of our work
This is important when considering how paths to destinations are affected during staged deployments because routes can change as new parts of a site are opened.
Deployment Streamlined installation process
This is achieved through deliberate planning and preparation.
We’re used to dealing with challenging on-site conditions – specifically on sites under partial construction. We’ve streamlined our processes so that we can do last minute installations, minimising the chances of damage to the Wayfinder kiosks by plant machinery.
Support services Ongoing smooth operation.
Abuzz also offers a complete support and maintenance package. This means you don’t need to worry about looking after your directories – we’ll do it for you!
We’ll make sure the units stay connected to the network, are up to date with the latest features… and most of all that your customers have an excellent experience using them. In the event you need enhancements, we can install them with minimum disruption.
We’ll give you dedicated contacts inside Abuzz who are experts on your centre, whether it’s for technical support or for map updates. Each month you’ll get an email with reports on the usage of your directories. We’ll tell you things like top 20 store searches, customer uses per day, and how much each directory is used.
