The Abuzz User Interface has undergone multiple refreshments and enhancements over the years to ensure it remains both engaging and Intuitive. Smart Search
The smart search feature allows a visitor to search by keywords and plan their visit based on specific goals. This could be searching for today’s promotions, the nearest café, a specific store name, a specific product or a specific brand amongst other unique keywords. These keywords are captured and incorporated into the analytics dashboard – providing valuable information to the management teams about what visitors are looking for when they enter the site.

- Unique Keyword Search (Brand, Product Type, Promotion)
- Localised Experience i.e. Nearest Restroom, Nearest Café
- Sub Category filters (for example ”vegan restaurants or cafes serving halal certified food”)
- Store Suggestions – if a particular store or brand is not present on site, the smart directory will suggest alternative stores selling similar products or services (this data can be provided back to the leasing teams for valuable input into the future tenant mix)
Intuitive Directions
Important for the visitor journey is to ensure the maps are easy to understand to ensure the individual can easily reach the destination without having to stop and ask for directions to staff on site. Abuzz have continually refined our maps and navigation features to optimize this component the routing.

- 3D Maps which are simplistic in design and easy to read
- Animated routing and turn by turn options
- Accessible routes can be selected to take elevators instead of escalators
- Management can temporarily switch off routes which are inaccessible at a point in time (i.e. during a spillage or during site works)
- The directory solution can be provided as a mobile solution (web-based and activated when scanning a QR Code)
Events and Promotions
Abuzz provide media scheduling under our content management platform, this includes media integrated with the wayfinding UI, displayed throughout the interaction with the wayfinding software.

- Ability to schedule full screen media across the directories when in screen saver mode
- Media is displayed throughout the interaction of the wayfinding UI, this includes a dedicated space to the UI which always displays scrolling media that can be seen during interaction
- Media is contextual meaning relevant categories of media can be displayed based on the type of category being browsed
- Highlighted stores allows for some stores to be prominent in display
- Tenant pop-up details allow for dynamic fields such as count downs for ending of promotions
